Due to Non-disclosure agreement (NDA), I am only allowed to share limited amount of work publicly. If you are curious about any project listed below, please contact me at tracyxrwei@gmail.com. I am more than happy to discuss the challenges I faced and potentially share more visuals.

Overview

I launched my first job as a graphic designer after college at TuSimple, a unicorn developing autonomous truck driving technologies to fill the gap of truck driver shortage. As a temporary substitute for the previous graphic designer going on parental leave for half year, I was challenged to finish the handover process in a week including connecting with managers from each department and starting to deliver publishable work with minimal mentorship.

During my 7 months of work, I contributed to a list of projects (rank based on scope of the projects):

  1. Designed truck wrap, advertisement, banners, brochures and flyers for several expos.

  2. Supported HR department through Fall and Spring recruitment seasons by taking charge of the recruiting package including print materials, banner designing, gift ordering, etc.

  3. Ideated several graphics and icons to illustrate technical breakthrough publicly as well as fun illustrations to communicate news internally.

  4. Took charge of designing badges, business cards and constructing monthly newsletters sent to 150+ employees across two offices.
